Education

“If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.” --Derek Bok, Dean of Harvard University

Education is the cornerstone of the America that we know and love. Yet sadly the rising cost of tuition and books has put school out of reach for most people. If we don’t act now to remedy the situation future generations will continue to watch the American standard of living diminish. Providing better education is an investment that will enhance this country in the years ahead.

An informed public has many ripple effects. People become more compassionate and inventive, make better financial and healthcare choices, and have the wherewithal to anticipate the needs of the future. We need to provide early childhood education, more opportunities for advanced education, as well as training for technical and trade jobs.
